Moscow Never Sleeps
I've notice in store some days before national geographic's new addition from August 2008. It has very nice title photo with bold letters on it: Ancient Iran - inside a nation's Persian soul. Isn't it interesting? But I never got time to read this magazine, as I was all the August thinking about peace for Georgia, reading news, thinking, thinking, prying and hoping ... Yesterday I borrow magazine from library and today I start reading it. I love to start to read from the very beginning. I take my time to look all details on the front page, content. Sometimes I leave to read editors notes, as I've noticed it's not always interested part. OK, and now to the point. In this magazine is also very informative and nice written article about Russia today. I find article for you on internet as well, so here's the link below. But why I am posting it, is not that it's interesting and it talks about Russian society and about a lot of changes there during last years. I post the article as evidence for crocodile Kremlin (small joke on the edge. But to be honest, I was pleased, that somebody else was having same association as I have ;) )

The Question is Canada's Role In the Georgian-Russian War?
As in question itself are a lot of findings, my answer had to relate those things as well:
Everybody knows today weaknesses of own and neighbor countries, but to paint all things so black & White, is wrong. Russia is far away and Canada/Canadians know less about this country.
I think that American Interests (I mean continent/alliances) are still in Canadian interest. To show your (political) friends, you are not standing with them, can be incorrigible mistake, as you don't know when YOU need their help. And if you don't like USA, does it makes Russia automatically better partner for future? :) It's better for Canada to stand behind somebody as jump in front of somebody. It means do what everybody aspect you to do. It's better for Canada, I think so.
So my answer is, you should stand, where you belong. And in case, that you would like to make corrections on your 'friends' behavior, work on it, instead of running to Russia ;)
And as Georgian I know that nobody cares on us, as we have for world politic, as you said 0 importance, but it's first unfair, against international law and second very bad example what Russia can do ... and not only against small neighbors. So by ignoring or giving unjust less importance will not help at all. You have to face it.

Yesterday I read an article about Putin's explanation for his, eventually his Medvedev's actions. I was after all sure, it's not a bear as it was previously thought, and in fact Kremlin is a real crocodile. Why I think so? Because of the tears.And what this crocodile is telling? Here, please:
- Why is EVERYBODY BLAMING me?
- I am acting in self-defense and being hungry is my emergency!
- I am always active for the Peace! Especially for the peace in Caucasus ... I mean for their death and MY PEACE!
Here you can see short video, how Russia bombed Gori and what was happening with Georgian people and with foreign journalists.
- And why people cry? What this anti-Russian hysteria means?
- What? Georgian Unity? But the Ossetians are my dessert.
- I had to act; otherwise my meal would run from me away!
- Do I have ideological problem? How can you say it? I wanted to eat and I have done so; clear and simple is my mind.
- We are not against anybody; we are just for "all in my chops!"
- We want good relationship with almost all countries ... Sure relations must be based on new realities.
- And at least I want to mention, that I could taken Tbilisi too, but right now I am replete.

New-Old Methods in a World leading
If World forgot, Russia is reminding them how concentration lagers looks like. Ethnic georgian people are taken from there homes and captured in such lagers. People don't know why or what is awaiting them. And I don't know either what happen with these people. Number of Georgian people are missing after Russian forces and Ossetian separatists took there control over the region. Nobody knows what happen with them or where they are now.
